Come prepared to show us how ready you are by participating in this year’s DECA and FBLA Fall Leadership Camp on September 5-8, 2019 at Camp Widjiwagan in Antioch, Tennessee. Members from Tennessee DECA and FBLA will discover leadership in new and exciting ways. All attendees will stay in cabins, furnished with bunk beds for the students and twin beds for the advisors. Registration is limited to the first 150 registered attendees.

We will have a talent showcase on Saturday night. Please bring any props and music that will be needed to showcase your talent. Sign-ups will be available during registration.
Talent Showcase Guidelines:
Talent Showcase Guidelines:
- Anyone attending the camp is eligible to participate in the talent showcase. (Advisors are welcome to participate.)
- Participants must sign-up for the talent showcase during onsite camp registration. Participants will be asked for the lyrics to all songs, whether they are to be performed or are supporting elements of the performance. Only songs with clean, powerful, and positive messages will be allowed at the talent showcase.
- Song lyrics + dances must not be offensive or crude.
- Performances may not exceed five minutes.
- Talents will be reviewed on Friday. You must attend this session to participate in the show on Saturday night.
- Talents must be performed in an appropriate manner suitable for a young businessman or businesswoman.
- The camp dress code must be followed during the talent showcase.
Professional development sessions will be provided by TN Department of Education career cluster program managers.

D’Andre Vasquez, DECA Executive President
D’Andre Vasquez is a three-year DECA member from Washington. He previously served as a chapter officer (Cascade High School | Leavenworth, WA) as well as a state officer. D’Andre has found success in DECA both as a leader and as a competitor in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing Series Event, having won at the state level and competed at ICDC. He believes that all students should have access to the DECA experience and is a passionate ambassador of the organization. D’Andre’s leadership has extended beyond DECA, including serving as Student Government President, Governor of Evergreen Boys State and President of Interact Club, as well as leading both the soccer and wrestling teams as captain. Following his term, D’Andre will pursue a major in Marketing and a minor in Political Science and plans to fulfill his dreams of developing a franchise, traveling the world and continuing to advocate for others.
REGISTRATION
Registration will be open from August 1-26, 2019. Registration will close on August 26 at 5:00 p.m. CT. All payments are due by Friday, August 30, 2019. Checks should be made payable to Tennessee DECA. Please include a copy of the registration invoice with your chapter’s check, along with DECA-3000 in the check’s memo line.
